We are looking to appoint two Bus/Coach Drivers on a part-time, term time only basis. The salary for these permanent posts is £11,075 per annum, which is pro‑rated from a full‑time salary of £28,714 per annum and is based on a basic hourly rate of £14.11. The post holders will work 20 hours per week over 34 weeks per annum. The working pattern will be agreed with the line manager. Additional overtime hours are likely to be available during term time by mutual agreement, subject to the operational needs of the school.

Under the direction of the Transport & Logistics Manager, the successful applicants will operate the school buses/coaches and provide a collection and delivery service for school staff and pupils. The ideal candidates will have previous driving experience preferably gained in a school environment and will possess good interpersonal and organisational skills as well as the ability to work alone and under their own initiative. The post holders will have a full driving licence with full PCV/PSV Licence (Category D Entitlement).

The successful candidates will be required to demonstrate a flexible approach to working hours. Please note the school strictly complies with the EU Rules for Drivers’ Hours.
