The Tonbridge HR team provide HR services across the employee lifecycle at both Tonbridge School and The New Beacon School. The School community is large; with more than 725 staff employed at Tonbridge and 140 staff at The New Beacon, spanning a wide range of roles from teaching to professional support. Tonbridge aims to provide a caring and enlightened environment in which the talents of each individual flourish, reflected in an outstanding record of regular professional development for staff, which is actively encouraged and supported. Tonbridge champions inclusion, allowing the voices of every individual to be heard and valued.
The HR team is led by the Director of HR and supported by two HR Managers and two HR Advisers. This is a newly created role within the team, and the successful candidate will help to deliver a full generalist HR service to support a range of business areas across the School. The role would suit an individual with experience in a generalist role in either an educational or corporate setting, with excellent interpersonal skills and a strong knowledge of employment law.
