Overview

Are you passionate about swimming and helping others build confidence in the water? We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable Swim School Helpers to join our team and support the delivery of safe, enjoyable, and engaging swimming sessions for children.

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside qualified swimming instructors to create a positive learning environment where swimmers feel supported and encouraged.
  • Help during lessons, provide extra support to beginners and nervous swimmers, and assist younger swimmers in the water when required.
  • Demonstrate techniques, lead warm-up activities, organise equipment, and ensure the poolside environment remains safe, clean, and welcoming.
  • Support the delivery of engaging sessions that build swimmers’ confidence and safety in the water.

Qualifications

  • Confident swimming ability.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Patient and approachable personality.
  • Ability to work in a busy environment with evening and weekend hours.

About the Role

This role is based in a busy environment and will include evening and weekend hours. It is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience, develop your skills, and make a real difference by helping swimmers become safer and more confident in the water.
