Overview

Employment Vacancy: School Bus Driver

Term time only - 32 weeks pa. Monday to Saturday inclusive or job-share considered.

Mornings: 0600 to 0830; Afternoons 1600 to c1800 and one late run per week after 1800.

Uniform provided.

Start date: as soon as possible.

Located in Farnham Royal, South Buckinghamshire.

Caldicott is one of the country’s most prestigious Independent Boarding and Day Preparatory Schools for Boys. We are a flourishing school with around 250 boys from 7 to 13 years old, with a five-day week in Year 3 & Year 4, Saturday School from Year 5 and all boys weekly board in Year 7 & Year 8. We deliver a first-class education, sporting provision and a rich variety of music, drama, arts and extracurricular opportunities in a friendly and supportive working environment. The school is only twenty miles from central London in a beautiful location. Many of our pupils live in London and we provide bus services to bring them to and from the school. The school currently runs services for Brook Green, Chiswick, Notting Hill, South Kensington, Northwood and locally to/from Godstowe School and Junction 4 M40, Handy Cross, Marlow and Beaconsfield.

We now have a vacancy to join our friendly team of School Bus Drivers, term time only for early morning, afternoon and evening runs.

Qualifications:

  • a clean driving licence (with D1)
  • good communication skills
  • the ability to establish and maintain appropriate behaviour of pupils
  • patience and the ability to keep calm; and be attentive and observant at all times

Ideally you will have previous experience of working with children in the school age range 7 to 13 years.
