The Head of Cricket will report directly to the Director of Sport and play a key role in shaping and developing cricket across the School.

We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic and forward-thinking individual with the vision, passion and expertise to lead the continued growth of cricket at STAHS. The successful candidate will oversee the structure and delivery of coaching programmes, manage the overall cricket pathway, and develop strategic initiatives that encourage participation and excellence at all levels.

This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and innovative professional who can inspire pupils, support coaches and implement a fully inclusive cricket programme that enables all participants, regardless of ability, to thrive and enjoy the sport.

This is a permanent position attracting RP1, with a start date of 5 January 2027.

Working Hours

This is a part-time role with seasonal hours aligned to the cricket calendar.

During the Lent (Spring) Term, the role will involve approximately 4 to 6 hours per week, focusing on indoor net sessions and preparation for the summer season. Availability on Mondays from 4.00 pm to 5.30 pm and Tuesdays from 12.30 pm to 1.30 pm would be advantageous; however, we are committed to flexible working and are happy to discuss alternative arrangements.

During the Trinity (Summer) Term, the anticipated working pattern will be:

Monday, Tuesday and Thursday: 12.30 pm to 5.30 pm

Wednesday: 10.30 am to 5.30 pm

Friday: 1.00 pm to 4.00 pm

Saturday: 7.00 am to 2.00 pm
