The role of Domestic Operatives plays an essential part in upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our Boarding Houses, classrooms, and offices, and for providing a full laundry service. This domestic service provision covers both term time and up to 42 days of school holiday time when the school’s facilities are let to outside organisations for teaching and training purposes.

Hours of Work & Salary:
- 5 hours per week – 7:30am-12:30pm Saturday or Sunday, 41.4 working weeks per year (47.21 paid weeks). Salary £3,000 per annum.
- 12 hours per week – 6:30am-8:30am Monday-Saturday, 36.4 working weeks per year (41.51 paid weeks). Salary £6,331 per annum.
- 35 hours per week – 6:30am-12:30pm Monday to Friday, 7:30am-12:30pm on a Saturday, 41.4 working weeks per annum (47.21 paid weeks). Salary £21,001 per annum.
- 40 hours per week – 6:30am-2:30pm Monday to Friday, and 7:30am-12:30pm Saturday, 41.4 working weeks per annum (47.21 paid weeks). Salary £24,001 per annum.
