We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to work as a one-to-one Teaching Assistant to support the needs of two Key Stage 2 students with Education and Health Care Plans. You will be working under the guidance and supervision of the class teacher to support pupils in lessons. You will also deliver literacy, numeracy and social skills sessions on a 1:1 and small group basis. This is a part time, 15 hours per week position, working during term time and staff training days. Hours are anticipated to be 09:00 am – 12:00 midday, Monday to Friday.
The role is subject to the renewal of council funding and is therefore offered on a fixed-term basis until July 2027. It is essential that an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare (or equivalent full and relevant qualification) is held.
