Main Purpose of the Role
You will support with the delivery of high-quality coaching and player development across the Loretto Golf Academy programmes offered to students. You will assist with technical, tactical and holistic progression of student athletes. You will be mentored and led by qualified PGA Professionals. Assist with the delivery of beginner group lessons, Junior School golf activities and junior coaching. Helping to organise and run the Loretto Junior Golf Tour. Help and assist with the organisation of junior tournaments and matches between junior teams. Assist the academy administration and the operation of the Loretto Golf Shop.
Experience & Skills
- Junior Golf Coaching experience is essential.
- Strong understanding and passion for junior golf coaching.
- ASQ Level 1 Award in Coaching Golf (Activities Coach) is essential, with ASQ Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Golf/ASQ Certificate in Golf Coaching desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work within a team to deliver exceptional customer service.
This is a full-time, permanent post working 45 hours per week during term-time. Plus 4 weeks during non-term time when you will be expected to support sports camps and the Golf Academy tour programme. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications for the role. Salary band in the region of £26,000 to £32,500.
