The Role
Our dedicated team of instructors deliver an engaging swim programme that encourages adults and children of all abilities. The successful individuals will be responsible for preparing equipment and ensuring safety provisions prior to assisting with lessons, welcoming all participants in a friendly manner, and delivering effective sessions. All staff at the Sport Centre provide visitors with a friendly and positive experience.
To be successful in this role you will need to be able to instruct participants of varying abilities and demonstrate the ability to motivate clients. If not already successfully achieved, candidates should have a desire to work towards a SEQ Level 1 Swimming Assistant qualification (or equivalent).

Hours of work
This role is flexible to meet the needs of the business. Normal working hours in a week are variable and available during Swim School opening hours which are currently weekday (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) evenings and weekend mornings based around School Term Time.
Hourly Rate: Β£14.58
The School and the Centre
Oundle and Laxton Junior Schools have long been associated with the very best of modern independent education, especially boarding. As well as providing new and improved facilities for the School's pupils, the new Sports Centre facility has been designed to allow increased access to local residents, sports clubs and Schools. After accommodating the educational and social demands of the pupils the School is eager to develop wider access to the Centre and encourages participation by local community in a range of Sports and Leisure activities organised and managed by the Centre's staff.
Our State of the Art Sports Centre offers a wide range of classes, fitness facilities and activities on a commercial basis, as well as numerous courses, children's holiday clubs and organised parties. Our facilities include a 50-metre swimming pool, an 8-court hall, a 70-station fitness suite, a dedicated dance studio and three further multipurpose studios.
