We are seeking an organised and proactive individual to support the day‑to‑day operation of the Sports Centre. As the senior staff member on duty, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth running of daily activities, providing guidance to the leisure team, and upholding the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and customer care. This position represents an excellent progression route for someone currently working as a Leisure Assistant, Lifeguard, or in another frontline leisure role, who is ready to develop their supervisory skills and broaden their operational experience. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to customer care and foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere throughout the Centre.

Responsibilities:

  • Undertake general lifeguarding duties (NPLQ qualification required)
  • Supervise staff during shifts
  • Support customer enquiries
  • Coordinate activity spaces
  • Maintain high levels of housekeeping
  • Ensure adherence to operational procedures and safety standards
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of services and lead specific operational or administrative focus areas as needed

Qualifications and Additional Duties:
