Role Overview

The purpose of the role is to run the day to day operation of the Laxton and Sadler House office, supporting the Housemasters and Matrons as required, to provide high quality, professional administrative support and pastoral care for the pupils; ensure the pupils achieve and maintain high standards of health care and self-discipline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Run day to day operations of the Laxton and Sadler House office.
  • Support Housemasters and Matrons as required.
  • Provide high quality, professional administrative support and pastoral care for pupils.
  • Ensure pupils achieve and maintain high standards of health care and self-discipline.
  • Act as the primary point of contact within the House, dealing with pupils, parents, staff and visitors.
  • Work within the Pastoral team and report to the Housemaster of Laxton.

Working Hours & Salary

Part time: 25 hours per week on set days: Wednesday 12:00 – 17:00, Thursday and Friday 8:30 – 17:00, Saturday 8:30 – 14:00. Working weeks: 35 weeks per annum (paid for 39.74 weeks). Pro‑rata salary: £12,647 per annum (FTE £26,481 per annum).
