Haberdashers' Castle House School is a small independent prep school located in Newport, Shropshire. Over recent years we have seen an upsurge in demand for places at the school. From September we are about to enter another phase of expansion and need to increase our teaching staff to match. We are looking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic and inspirational teacher to work in Key Stage two. This person will deliver an exciting curriculum and be involved in the wider activities offered by the school. Children are taught by their Class Teacher for the majority of their lessons yet benefit from being taught by specialists in subjects such as music and PE. Haberdashers’ Castle House School is a non-selective Prep School. Whilst the school does have a focus on academic entry to the 11+ grammar schools in the area, we are highly inclusive and welcome children of all abilities, talents and needs.

The appointee will need to demonstrate a commitment to technology and its use across the curriculum. The successful candidate will also have the ability to command respect amongst all segments of the wider community and bring with them real energy, excitement and passion to the classroom.
