Required as soon as possible. We seek to appoint a professional and enthusiastic individual to join our Domestic Services team in providing high quality and responsive janitorial cleaning services across the school site on weekends during term time.
The Weekend Domestic Assistant will join a multi‑disciplined facilities team consisting of four caretakers, two maintenance staff, three grounds staff and twenty‑two domestic staff. The Weekend Domestic Assistant will report to the Domestic Supervisor who, in turn, reports to the Facilities Services Manager.
Hours: This is a permanent, term‑time only role + 1 day for safeguarding training and 1 day for other training. Normal hours will be 7:00am‑11:00am Saturday and Sunday.
Salary: The full‑time equivalent salary for this role is in the region of £23,883 gross per annum (Full time equivalent based on a 37.5 hour working week) which is equivalent to £12.21 per hour. As this is a part‑time and term‑time only role, the actual salary will be adjusted to £3,987 gross per annum. Salaries are paid in twelve equal monthly instalments.
