We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Nurse to cover a period of Maternity leave within our outstanding Early Years team at The Elms Nursery, part of Trent College. Set within a beautiful 45-acre campus in Long Eaton, our nursery provides a nurturing and inspiring environment where children aged from 6 weeks begin their learning journey through play, exploration, and discovery. Rated “Outstanding” in all areas, we are proud of our commitment to delivering exceptional care and early education, supported by experienced staff and excellent facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Support children’s development by helping to plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework, while ensuring the highest standards of care, safety, and wellbeing.
  • Work closely with colleagues, parents, and professionals, building positive relationships and creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
  • Act as a caring, proactive individual passionate about early years education and committed to making a meaningful difference in children’s lives.
