Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, well-structured and differentiated mathematics lessons
- Inspire, motivate and challenge students of all abilities, including SEND and high-achieving learners
- Use assessment effectively to monitor progress and inform teaching
- Provide high-quality feedback and maintain strong marking standards
- Foster a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment
- Contribute to the wider life of the school and students’ personal development
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to whole-school initiatives
- Support the school’s ethos, development plan and strategic aims
- Use IT effectively to enhance teaching and learning

About You
Essential:
- A degree in Mathematics or a related subject
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or willingness to train
- Ability to teach GCSE Mathematics
- Strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Enthusiasm for inspiring a love of mathematics
Desirable:
- Experience with GCSE exam preparation or exam board marking
