An independent boarding school for boys aged 13 to 18.
Permanent, 36 weeks per year (33 weeks term time plus 3 weeks in the School holidays) 28 hours per week.
The role: You will provide comprehensive and professional Athletic Development services and programmes for all boys involved in sports and physical development at Harrow. This will include structuring the Athletic Development provision to align with the Harrow vision for Sport, catering from beginners to those in pursuit of excellence.
The skills: You will have experience of coaching school-aged boys and teams from beginner to elite/advanced levels of performance, using your nationally recognised Athletic Development coaching and/or other vocational qualifications relevant to the sport and fitness industry. Your experience of working within an academy or professional sporting environment and of coaching national and international level athletes will be valuable, and your focus on safety protocols and understanding of the needs of athletes across multiple sports will support them to thrive in an environment of skill and safety. Using your strong communication skills and your supportive, approachable personality you will motivate and enthuse boys of all abilities to excel and enjoy sports.
