You will provide first-line support to staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and delivering excellent customer service. Working as part of the IT team, the key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Responding to IT support requests via phone, email, and ticketing system
  • Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues
  • Setting up and configuring laptops, desktops, and mobile devices
  • Assisting with user account management and password resets

We are interested in applications from individuals who can demonstrate a good level of technical competence, and with experience of working with Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, and who are familiar with networking concepts (Wi‑Fi, LAN). You will also be able to demonstrate strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail, excellent communication and customer service skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The role is offered on a part time, permanent contract working 8am‑4pm, Monday to Friday, term time only based on the school site. Flexibility is required as there may be technical event support outside of the core school hours which would be discussed and agreed in advance with the Director of IT. An additional two weeks would be worked in the school holidays as agreed with the Director of IT.
