This role is well suited to a reflective and nurturing practitioner who is passionate about early childhood education and supporting young learners to develop confidence, independence and a love of learning.

You will play a key role in delivering high‑quality EYFS provision, working collaboratively within a supportive team to ensure every child is inspired and encouraged to achieve their very best. There is a very committed and supportive staff body who are passionate about teaching and ensuring that the girls truly thrive during their time at the school.

What you’ll be doing

  • Deliver engaging, well‑planned teaching across all areas of the EYFS, creating a calm, inclusive and stimulating learning environment that supports pupils’ academic, social and emotional development.
  • Promote a love of learning through thoughtful differentiation, effective assessment and close monitoring of pupil progress against the EYFS framework and Early Learning Goals.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and pupils to deliver an ambitious curriculum and enrich learning through trips, visits and other opportunities beyond the classroom.

What you’ll bring

  • A strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and a nurturing, child‑centred approach to learning.
  • High expectations for all pupils, with the ability to adapt teaching to meet individual needs.
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills, alongside a reflective and professional approach to practice.
  • A commitment to safeguarding, pastoral care and the wider life of the school.
