Location: Repton Preparatory School

Contract Type: Three days per week, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Salary: Commensurate with skills and experience

This role would be on a temporary contract for the purposes of covering maternity leave. Terms of the appointment include:

  • The appointment is subject to a term’s notice.
  • There may be the opportunity of accommodation on site for candidates at a reduced rent for those wishing to contribute to the boarding duty team, and this is highly encouraged for this role.

Repton Preparatory School are looking to appoint a dynamic and forward-thinking Key Stage One Teacher, who is an outstanding classroom practitioner with the skills and experience to deliver first class teaching and outcomes for our pupils. The successful candidate will be required to teach in Key Stage One, working as part of the wider Pre-Prep and whole school team. A willingness to be involved in all aspects of day-to-day life in a busy boarding prep school is essential. All staff are involved in the close pastoral care of our pupils, and the role will report directly to the Deputy Head Pre-Prep, and ultimately the Head.

The role is required from April 2026 to cover maternity leave and we invite applications from both experienced teachers and those that may be new to the profession. The role will involve teaching a Year 2 class for 3 days a week (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday).
