Erskine Stewart's Melville Schools are currently recruiting for a Hockey and PE Support Coach to join the Department of Physical Education on a temporary, part-time basis from August 2025 until March 2026 (subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks). This is a term-time only post, working 26 hours per week. The pro-rata salary range is £14,285 - £17,581 per annum, based on qualifications and experience.
We seek an enthusiastic and motivated player, preferably with coaching experience, but more importantly with the personality and drive to enhance our coaching programme. You will work with players at all levels, from beginners to those in the Scotland Emerging (U16) and Aspiring (U18) National squads.
This role is ideal for passionate hockey players eager to support young player development. It offers an excellent opportunity for those starting their coaching careers to gain practical experience in a supportive school environment. It also suits more experienced coaches seeking a role that combines coaching with broader support across hockey and PE programs.
Eligibility: ESMS cannot sponsor employment for international workers. International applicants must demonstrate the right to work in the UK.
