Chef de Partie β Maternity Cover Required from Summer term 2026.
We have a maternity cover vacancy for the role of Chef de Partie within the main school kitchen. Fixed term position from Summer term 2026 to end of March 2027, working term time only (39 weeks). Flexible days will be considered, but must include Mondays and Thursdays β 5, 4, 3 or 2 days, 8 hours per day, times to be discussed. Β£16.25 per hour.
The successful candidate will join a team of seven, producing over 1000 high quality meals per day, alongside a varied range of hospitality including fine dining. This role would suit a highly motivated chef with a keen eye for detail both in food preparation and service delivery. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential as the role involves working closely with Catering Managers, external clients, school staff and pupils.
