Our 2026 Summer School will operate from 12th July to 9th August. Felsted is a leading day and boarding independent school based in a stunning village campus in North Essex. We are excited to be running our twelfth on‑site Summer School in 2026, offering students a wide range of academic, sporting and cultural opportunities for about 500 students aged 8‑17 from every corner of the world.
We are looking for Advanced English with Global Studies Teachers for our International Summer School in 2026 to plan and deliver a suitable Global Studies programme to help develop students' learning. The role will involve the integration of both international and British students on the senior campus (ages 12‑17).
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering lesson plans.
- Supervising reflection sessions.
- Contributing to the Summer School weekly newsletter.
- Residential duties including boarding responsibilities, excursions and social activities as required.
Key qualifications include:
- Experience of teaching in the subject area.
- Hold a degree/MA/PhD in a related subject.
- Ability to work in a residential setting over the duration of the Summer School.
This is a fixed‑term role; Summer School runs between 12th July and 9th August 2026 with inductions held from 8th to 11th July. This role is for the first 2 weeks of Summer School, from 12th to 26th July with an induction from 8th to 11th July 2026. The role will require the appointee to be residential for the duration of Summer School.
