City of London School has an exciting new opportunity for a hardworking, team player to join our Facilities team as a Facilities Supervisor. The purpose of the post will be to assist the Facilities team in providing support to the life of the school in its many non-teaching aspects, with a particular emphasis on overseeing the cleaning and security contract, general repairs and maintenance, supervision of the school keepers and reception staff and associated functions, and ensuring the health & safety and well-being needs are met for all pupils, staff and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Facilities team in supporting the life of the school in its many non-teaching aspects.
- Oversee cleaning and security contract.
- Manage general repairs and maintenance.
- Supervise school keepers and reception staff and associated functions.
- Ensure health & safety and well-being needs are met for all pupils, staff and visitors.
- Maintain all facilities functions to meet the school's needs.
- Encourage a good team‑working culture, especially during busy periods or staff absences.
- Ensure all facilities staff are familiar with the wider facilities and operational teams so they can cover different shift patterns and responsibilities.
