At the heart of this support lies the Health Centre — an essential and highly valued part of the College community. The Health Centre provides a safe, professional, and discreet environment where pupils can access excellent medical care.
Our experienced team, led by a Nurse Manager and supported by School GPs, Physiotherapists, and Counsellors, ensures a truly multidisciplinary approach to health and wellbeing. We deliver high-quality, comprehensive care across a wide range of needs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week during term time. This includes the assessment and treatment of minor illness and injury, the management of sporting injuries and concussion, and ongoing support for pupils with chronic medical conditions.
In addition, we provide dedicated care for pupils’ mental and emotional wellbeing, recognising the vital connection between physical health and overall resilience. Our well-equipped facilities include consulting rooms and dedicated accommodation for boarders who may require overnight care, enabling us to respond effectively, compassionately, and promptly to both routine and more complex medical needs.
The nursing team also plays a key pastoral role within the College, building trusted relationships with pupils and offering support that extends beyond physical health. Working closely with House Masters, Matrons, and the wider pastoral network, the Health Centre ensures that every pupil receives personalised, holistic care tailored to their individual needs.

Hours: Either: 1 Long Day Shift (7:30am – 7:45pm), 1 Short Day Shift (12:00pm – 6:00pm) and 1 sleeping on call shift (7:30pm – 7:45am) - 30.5 hours per week Term Time Only including Inset.
