The Director of Sport will be the figurehead of all sports and physical activity at KGS and be a constant ambassador of its values both within the school and beyond. They will be expected to engage persuasively with students, parents, and colleagues, and to promote positive attitudes to sport and exercise throughout the school community. The Director of Sport will also ensure that games are closely integrated within the wider life of the school and will work with the Assistant Head Co-Curricular to achieve this.
The successful candidate will be an inspiring sports professional capable of commanding both respect and affection amongst students, staff, and parents. Through genuine leadership, it is expected that the Director of Sport will establish an environment where all students will participate enthusiastically and many will excel.
The closing date for applications is 9.00am on Monday, 17th March 2025, with interviews being held on Friday, 21st March 2025.
