Erskine Stewart Melville Junior School is appointing a Digital Learning & Technologies Assistant on a permanent, part‑time basis from 17th August 2026. The position is term‑time only, working 27.75 hours per week, with a salary of £17,170.
Responsibilities
- Deliver the Digital Learning curriculum to children in the Junior School, especially in Nursery to Primary 3.
- Lead planned learning sessions and support teaching of Digital Learning across the Junior School up to Primary 7.
- Support and facilitate high‑quality Digital Learning, Technologies and STEAM learning experiences.
- Contribute to the smooth and effective day‑to‑day operation of Digital Learning provision.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience working with children, with strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent and proactive communication skills, with demonstrated experience in developing rapport with teachers, year group leaders and pupils.
- Advanced skills in using digital equipment and software suites.
- Continuous review and improvement of processes to enhance delivery.
