We are looking for reliable, adaptable and enthusiastic teachers to act as cover teachers on an ad hoc basis. This is a flexible role offering the opportunity to work as much or as little as you wish, based around your other commitments.
The ideal candidate will be required to:
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons and feedback on the work completed to the regular class teacher.
- Supervise and support pupils and help them to remain on task while ensuring that expected levels of behaviour and conduct are adhered to.
- Create an environment conducive to learning and be able to provide clear instructions on the work provided.
- Be adaptable and confident in interacting with different age groups and across a wide variety of subjects.
- Be reliable and have excellent time keeping.
Cover is required across a wide range of subjects and year groups. Last minute availability is an advantage.
