This is aone-year, full-time, fixed-term positiondesigned to help you build a strong foundation in content creation and marketing strategy.You will play a key role in supporting the re-affirmation of our brand within the education sector, contributing fresh ideas and energy to a team that values creativity, initiative and innovation.

About the Role

As a Content Creator, you will help shape the voice and visual identity of Gordonstoun across multiple channels.You will work closely with the Head of Marketing & Communications to deliver high-quality content that reflects our values and connects with key audiences.As is the nature of content creation, this role will require the flexibility to work occasional evenings and at weekends.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Social Media Management:Delivering a multi-channel social media strategy and liaising with stakeholders
  • Copywriting:Craft engaging and on-brand copy for social media, blogs, emails, brochures, and the website.
  • Video Content:Produce and edit reels for our social channels that resonate with our target audience and reflect our core values.
  • Photography Coordination:Manage our photography calendar, accompany photographers on campus, and ensure we have a steady stream of fresh, professional imagery.
  • Internal Collaboration:Work with staff and students to source authentic content, attend meetings for content planning, and bring new ideas to the table.
  • Website Management:Identify opportunities to enhance our online content and help maintain engaging blogs and galleries.
  • Design Support: Collaborate with external design professionals and assist departments in creating visually appealing materials such as event posters, certificates, and programmes.

Who We\’re Looking For

We’re seeking a motivated and creative individual who is eager to gain hands-on experience across a variety of marketing functions.

You will ideally:

  • Be a recent graduate in Marketing, Media, Communications, or a related field.
  • Have a strong creative eye and confidence in editing and publishing digital content.
  • Be familiar with growing and managing social media audiences.
  • Be organised, proactive, and brimming with ideas.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
  • Be keen to learn and contribute to the success of a prestigious and forward-thinking brand.
  • Have a passion for the outdoors and education

Salary: £25-35k per annum including on-campus accommodation, meals and more!
