Parkside School is seeking an experienced and technically strong Head of Finance to join our team in Cobham, Surrey.
Reporting to the Bursar, this is a senior and influential role with responsibility for leading the School’s finance function and providing high-quality financial insight, advice and constructive challenge to senior leaders and Governors.
The role spans strategic financial planning, budgeting and forecasting, management and statutory accounts, cash flow, audit and compliance, payroll and pensions, fee billing and credit control.
You will also play an important role in procurement, risk management and the continued development of our financial systems and processes.
We are looking for a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with significant senior-level finance experience, excellent technical knowledge and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.
You will be commercially aware, forward-thinking and motivated by opportunities to improve processes, drive efficiencies and make the best use of the School’s resources.
