City of London Freemen's School is seeking to appoint two talented, dynamic and committed teachers to join Freemen’s as English teachers for maternity covers. We seek to appoint two Teachers of English for September 2026 to teach a full timetable comprised of KS3-KS5 classes.

The successful candidates will possess an avidity for language and literature; be capable of inspiring pupils to achieve the highest outcomes; be reliable, industrious and capable of managing their time effectively; have an enthusiastic, creative approach to teaching, in addition to a broad subject knowledge base; and be willing to contribute to the Department’s co‑curricular programme.

Applications from new or experienced professionals are equally welcome. Salary will be determined according to qualifications and experience. The City of London Freemen’s School operates its own salary scale which is substantially above the national pay scales.
