We are seeking to appoint two Higher Level Teaching Assistants, one with ELSA training, to join our thriving school community. The Higher Level Teaching Assistants will provide essential support to pupils who need additional help accessing learning, additional academic intervention as well as social and emotional support. Working closely with the SENCO, teaching staff and parents, the successful candidates will support pupils with a range of additional needs, deliver targeted interventions, facilitate ELSA sessions (if applicable), and help ensure that every pupil is able to access learning, build confidence and achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities
- The successful candidates will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a proactive and flexible approach, and a passion for supporting pupils to succeed.
- They will contribute to the development of individual support plans, deliver one-to-one and small-group interventions, administer SEND screening tools, and play a key role in promoting an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
Hours
35 hours per week, term time only including 5 INSET days. Part time hours may be considered; please outline any specific requests in your covering letter.
Salary
The FTE salary is £25,617 per annum; therefore actual salary for 35 hours per week is £19,403 per annum.
