Senior Science Technician (part-time)

Salary: £13,632 (with a responsibility allowance of £2,500)

Employment: Permanent, part-time, term-time only plus 5 days. Start date: September 2026.

Responsibilities

• Support the science department and bring science to life for students.
• Manage a small team of Science Technicians.
• Lead the efficient preparation of school laboratories and resources.
• Ensure a high standard of health and safety practice within the department.
• Maintain strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Background or knowledge of Physics preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of health and safety best practice.
• Strong organisational skills and detail orientation.
