Role Overview
The King’s School, Canterbury is seeking a British Fencing registered Epee Coach (Level 2 or above) to join the coaching team full-time from September 2026.
Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Head of Fencing.
- Experience coaching within a school environment.
- Support the delivery and development of the Fencing Programme at all levels of fencing at the King’s School and Junior King's School.
- Coaching beginners and experienced youth fencers in Epee.
- Organising training programmes.
- Ensuring safety protocol.
- Handling armoury duties.
- Attending internal and external competitions, including weekends or overnight stays.
Qualifications and Experience
- British Fencing registered Epee Coach, Level 2 or above.
- Proven experience coaching beginners and experienced youth fencers in Epee.
- Excellent communication, organisational and punctuality skills.
- Ability to work as part of an ambitious team.
- Experience of armoury work and refereeing is advantageous.
