We are seeking an outstanding Head of Admissions to join The Marist School from September 2026 or earlier. The role involves working closely with the Principal, the Head of Operations and other senior staff to promote the school's vision, aims and ethos to prospective parents and pupils. The successful candidate will oversee the entire admissions journey, ensuring a seamless, professional, welcoming and supportive experience for families.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance the admissions process, ensuring a cohesive journey for prospective families.
- Serve as the primary contact for parents throughout the admissions cycle.
- Line‑manage the admissions team, fostering teamwork and professional development.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to inform branding and marketing strategies that attract and retain pupils.
- Build and sustain positive relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Strategic and analytical thinker with experience in a values‑led educational organisation.
- Experience in leadership roles within teaching is desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including diplomacy, patience and strong listening and communication abilities.
- Energetic, enthusiastic and committed to delivering a highly personalised admissions experience.
