This newly created role will provide high-quality administrative support across the school’s business functions, including Human Resources, Finance, and Operations. In addition, the postholder will assist with administration for wider school activities such as the volunteering programme through Community Action and Service.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support across Human Resources, Finance and Operations.
- Assist with administration for school activities, including the volunteering programme through Community Action and Service.
- Support other administrative areas and provide cover when needed; maintain a welcoming, professional and helpful manner.
Qualifications and skills
- Excellent communication and IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Highly organised, adaptable, and able to multitask; able to work under pressure and with minimal supervision.
- Professional and friendly manner; ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and the wider school community.
- Flexible attitude and willingness to support other administrative areas.
Working arrangements
- Permanent position, term time plus 4 additional weeks in school holidays.
- In term time, Monday to Friday, 30-40 hours per week (to be agreed at interview), with a start time of 8.15am or 8.30am.
- During school holidays, hours may be flexible with hybrid working.
- A job share arrangement may be considered.
