Abingdon Schools Group are seeking to appoint an exceptional PA with excellent attention to detail, highly organised with strong communication skills to support the Head and assist the Clerk to the Governors.
The Head has a heavy workload and busy diary. The post holder will therefore need to be a self-starter with the ability to work both collaboratively and independently using their own initiative. Aside from the professional skills required, a flexible approach, enthusiasm and an ability to work proactively and collaboratively is essential. The post holder will be intelligent, articulate and confident.
The postholder will be required to work a 40 hour week, 8.30am - 5.00pm (with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break) during term time (34 weeks per year). There will also be a requirement to do some work during evenings, weekends and school holidays totalling a further 6 weeks to include A Level and GCSE results days in August, Open Day, Prize Giving and minuting various evening meetings.
