I am supporting a well-established engineering manufacturer (part of a larger international technology group) as they expand their R&D team, looking for one mechanically biased and one electrically biased engineer to support a major technology transfer programme from mainland Europe into the UK, alongside ongoing product development.

This role sits between design and manufacturing, focused on turning engineering concepts into reliable, production-ready machinery.

What you’ll be involved in:

  • Supporting new product introduction

We are looking for:

  • Engineering degree or equivalent experience
  • Background in machinery, automation or equipment development
  • A strong practical/process engineering mindset
  • Comfortable solving real-world engineering problems (not purely desk-based)

Mechanical bias: mechanisms, materials handling, assemblies, reliability

Electrical bias: controls hardware, sensors, drives, integration

Why consider it:

  • Genuine development engineering (not maintenance/support)
  • Investment in your professional growth
