We are a dynamic and growing homewares company, supplying to the UK retail and international markets, and we’re looking for a Product Specialist to support our expanding team. This is a newly created role – a perfect opportunity for an Assistant Buyer or similar, looking to take on more responsibility and grow with a thriving business. About the Role As a Product Specialist, you’ll work closely with the buying, sourcing and product development teams to build trend-led, commercial homeware ranges that resonate with our customers. You’ll be involved in every stage of the product lifecycle – from supplier communication and range planning to performance analysis and ongoing product optimisation. Key Responsibilities * Support the development and delivery of commercially focused product ranges tailored to UK and international retail customers. * Liaise with suppliers and factories in Asia and Europe to manage product sourcing, development, and critical paths. * Analyse sales data and market trends to inform product decisions and identify new opportunities. * Ensure accurate and up-to-date product and supplier information across systems and teams. * Collaborate across departments to ensure smooth product flow and on-time delivery. * Keep up to date with market activity, customer preferences and emerging trends. About You * Buying experience within homewares or a similar consumer goods category. * Previous exposure to working with overseas suppliers – especially in Asia * Commercially savvy and highly analytical, with a keen eye for detail. * Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills. * Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple projects at once. * Strong understanding of the UK retail landscape and customer expectations. * A passion for product and a desire to help shape future ranges.
