We’re partnering with an equipment supplier to the foodservice industry to appoint a Head of Operations & Supply Chain — a senior leadership role with end-to-end responsibility across procurement, planning, materials, logistics and inventory performance. This is a role for a commercially minded supply chain leader who enjoys building structure, improving flow, and driving performance across complex operations.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Owning the end-to-end supply chain strategy, from supplier to customer
  • Leading procurement (direct & indirect), materials planning and logistics teams
  • Driving improvements in OTIF, inventory accuracy, stock forecasting and availability
  • Developing sourcing strategies and managing supplier performance
  • Optimising inventory, working capital and warehouse capacity
  • Leading planning across inbound, outbound, service and installation activities
  • Acting as ERP / WMS system super-user, driving data accuracy and insight
  • Embedding robust KPI reporting and performance management
  • Collaborating closely with Quality to embed right-first-time principles
  • Supporting growth through scalable, resilient supply chain processes

What we’re looking for:

  • Senior leadership experience across supply chain, procurement and operations
  • Strong background in materials planning, inventory optimisation and supplier management
  • Commercially astute with strong negotiation and contract management skills
  • Confident working cross-functionally with Sales, Quality and Technical teams
  • Data-driven, systems-savvy and process-focused
  • ERP / WMS experience essential
  • Professional qualifications (CIPS, APICS, CSCP, CPSM or similar) desirable but not essential

Why this role?

This is a genuinely strategic role with real influence across the business. You’ll be trusted to shape the operating model, improve performance and build a supply chain that supports both customer satisfaction and profitable growth.
