Job Title: Control Room Shift Manager Location: Burnley Salary: £40,000 + Pension + 24 Holidays + Retail & Healthcare Discounts Do you have a passion for driving efficiency in warehouse operations and automated systems? We have an opportunity for a Control Room Shift Manager to play a crucial role at the forefront of operations within an automated Distribution Centre. Working with WMS and automated systems and using data to inform decisions you will be responsible for ensuring an efficient warehouse operation. Our client is creating a high performing team within their pick tower function with an ethos of engagement, personal development, and continuous improvement. This role will be working a 3 On / 3 Off night shift. A summary of responsibilities includes: Lead the operational team to positively impact operational KPIs and productivity targets, SLA’s, and Health & Safety. Understand and interpret operational data relating to productivity and resource requirements, balancing the two to ensure optimum performance. Attend and lead operational review meetings, providing accurate to data to ensure targets can be achieved and all stakeholders are aligned. Implement Continuous Improvement strategies to support Lean methodology across systems and operations activities. Ensure compliance with all legal and company requirements and quality management standards. Build productive relationships with all stakeholders and external suppliers alike. Experience required in this role; We are looking for somebody that is passionate about exceeding customer expectations working as part of team. You will need to have proven analytical skills and be comfortable with interpreting data, spotting trends, and coordinating resources. Ideally, you will have experience of working within an automated warehouse operation. Experience of working with WMS and/or ERP systems is essential in this role. Proven experience of leading and developing teams is a crucial skill required in this role. The Package: Salary of up to £40,000 per annum.
