The Team
The Technology and Transformation Team drives innovation, optimises our systems, and ensures smooth operations across The IN Group (TIG). We’re structured into five specialist areas:
- Infrastructure – keeping our tech ecosystem strong and reliable.
- Information Security – ensuring our security measures are always effective.
- Service Delivery – running the Service Desk and resolving IT support issues.
- Product Development – optimising and enhancing our product pipeline.

Role Impact - Maternity cover 12 month FTC
As a Junior Project Manager, you’ll play a key supporting role in delivering IT and technology-driven projects that enhance our operations and improve processes across the business. You’ll assist senior Project Managers in planning, coordinating, and reporting on projects, while building your own experience in project management best practices.
This role is a great opportunity for someone early in their project management career to gain exposure to transformation initiatives in a fast-paced and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Support: Assist in the planning, coordination, and tracking of projects across the group.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain project documents, action logs, and reports for stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Communication: Help manage communications between project teams and business stakeholders, ensuring updates are clear and timely.
- Process Mapping: Support the analysis and documentation of business processes to identify improvement opportunities.
- Risk & Issue Tracking: Maintain risk and issue logs, escalating concerns where needed.
- Tools & Systems: Use project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Asana, Trello) to update timelines, track tasks, and share progress.
- Learning & Development: Work alongside experienced project managers to develop skills in project lifecycles, governance, and delivery.
What You Need to Succeed
- Some experience working in a project environment (e.g., as a coordinator, analyst, or assistant) is helpful, but not essential.
- An interest in technology, systems, or business transformation.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Awareness of project management tools or frameworks (Agile, PRINCE2, etc.) is a bonus.
- A proactive, adaptable, and collaborative approach to work.
