About the Role:

We’re searching for a confident, tech-savvy and customer-focused Switchboard Coordinator. You’ll be the voice of the hotel—connecting calls, assisting guests and ensuring our communication channels run effortlessly around the clock.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Operate the NEC Business ConneCT system, IP phones and PA systems with speed and accuracy.
  • Handle calls professionally, providing clear information or directing callers to the right departments.
  • Monitor system performance, report faults and follow procedures for emergency and priority calls.
  • Manage wake-up calls, guest messages and call logging across systems including Opera and Telecom Eye.
  • Ensure detailed record-keeping, smooth handovers and consistent communication standards.
  • Provide out-of-hours support for staff and guests, maintaining a 24-hour service.

Who You Are:

  • Excellent telephone manner with proven customer service experience.
  • Strong written and spoken English, confident with MS Office and multitasking.
  • Calm, organised and able to prioritise under pressure.
  • Bonus: experience with switchboard systems or hospitality environments.
