About the Role:
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-focused Public Area Cleaner to keep our hotel’s public spaces spotless, welcoming and guest-ready at all times. You’ll play a key part in ensuring every guest enjoys a clean, comfortable and impressive environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Clean public areas including lobbies, lifts, corridors, offices, meeting rooms and staircases.
- Work efficiently and maintain high cleaning standards in a fast-paced environment.
- Follow Health & Safety and COSHH procedures at all times.
- Report maintenance issues, hazards or accidents promptly.
- Maintain cleaning equipment safely and ensure supplies are stocked.
- Support team members and contribute to a positive working atmosphere.
- Provide great customer service by ensuring public spaces are always presentable.
Who You Are:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Public Area Cleaner, ideally in hospitality.
- Strong time-management skills and attention to detail.
- Physically able to lift, bend and stand for long periods.
- Positive, flexible and able to work independently or as part of a team.
