A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FOOD & BEVERAGE MANAGER AT OUR HOTEL What you'll be doing...

  • Lead and inspire the Food & Beverage team, creating a positive culture that delivers exceptional guest experiences across all outlets.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the restaurant, bar, room service and events, ensuring service standards are consistently achieved.
  • Recruit, coach and develop your team, providing regular training, performance feedback and opportunities for growth.
  • Take ownership of guest satisfaction, confidently resolving feedback and ensuring every guest leaves with a memorable experience.
  • Work closely with the Head Chef and wider hotel management team to ensure seamless communication, efficient service and operational excellence.
  • Manage stock control, ordering and inventory, ensuring cost-effective purchasing and minimising waste.
  • Create and manage rotas in line with business levels, controlling labour costs while ensuring the team is fully supported.
  • Monitor financial performance, including revenue, payroll, stock and departmental budgets, identifying opportunities to improve profitability.
  • Ensure all food safety, health & safety and licensing regulations are fully compliant, maintaining the highest standards across all F&B areas.
  • Drive sales through menu knowledge, promotions, upselling and continuous improvement of the guest experience.

  • Strong people management skills with the ability to motivate, coach and develop high-performing teams.
