A new chapter in luxury hospitality is coming to St Mawes. This exciting new hotel will bring 56 beautifully designed bedrooms, a vibrant café, and a relaxing spa experience to one of Cornwall’s most sought-after coastal destinations. We will be looking for talented, enthusiastic people to join the opening team and help shape something special from the very beginning — creating exceptional guest experiences in a setting defined by style, comfort and seaside charm.

What you will be doing

You will oversee all aspects of hotel operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences, strong financial performance, and a positive working environment. You will lead department heads, drive strategic initiatives, and ensure the property operates in line with brand standards, legal requirements, and company values.

What we are looking for

We are looking to recruit an experienced General Manager who has led hotel openings and can demonstrate meaningful commercial success. Someone who will quickly step into operational roles when needed and maintain exacting standards across the property. Strong commercial and revenue leadership will be key, driving occupancy through agile decision making and proven experience creating a service culture built on warmth, anticipation, and individual attention.
