We are looking for a confident, hands-on Duty Manager to join our hotel team and help deliver exceptional guest experiences every day. About the Role
As Duty Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day operation of the hotel during your shift. You will lead by example, support all departments, and ensure guests receive outstanding service from arrival to departure. You will act as the main point of contact for guests and team members, handling operational issues efficiently while maintaining high service standards across the hotel.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operation of the hotel during shifts
- Lead, motivate and support team members across departments
- Deliver excellent guest service and resolve guest concerns professionally
- Ensure high standards of presentation, cleanliness and safety throughout the hotel
- Support reception, food & beverage and housekeeping teams when required
- Manage shift handovers and communicate effectively with department heads
- Monitor staffing levels and operational efficiency
- Ensure company policies, procedures and compliance standards are followed
- Handle cashing up, reporting and operational administration as required
What We’re Looking For
- Previous supervisory or management experience within hospitality or hotels
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- A proactive and positive attitude
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and solve problems effectively
- Flexible approach to working shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Good organisational and IT skills
