Nestled within 1,800 acres of stunning National Trust parkland, the beautiful Ickworth Hotel seeks motivated and dedicated Room Attendants to join their brilliant team. If you are passionate about ensuring guest comfort and maintaining impeccable standards of cleanliness then this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a luxury hotel known for its exceptional service and welcoming culture.

Role

Working alongside a friendly and motivated team you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our guests experience the epitome of comfort and cleanliness during their stay. This is a permanent position at 32 hours per week, which includes weekends, at an hourly rate of £12.71 per hour plus service charge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure high quality room and public area cleans: You will work as part of the housekeeping team to ensure all assigned bedrooms and public areas are turned around and cleaned to the highest standard, including a full restock of all in-room guest amenities. You will be asked to conduct thorough deep cleans on occasion.
  • Ensure a safe environment for our guests: You will maintain and check all equipment regularly and report any defects. Ensure all equipment and chemicals are used correctly as per manufacturer instructions.
  • Make long‑lasting unique memories: We welcome your charisma and personality and encourage you to create memories and relationships with our guests – especially the littlest ones!

Qualifications

  • Charisma, engaging personality, and passion for hospitality and providing great service to our guests.
  • A keen eye for detail, working to tight timeframes, and enjoying a physical job role.
  • Ability to interact with all guests and have fun and engage with our younger guests.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping is desirable, but full training will be given.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
