The Role: We are now seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Chef - the most creative and fun role in the kitchen! As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for crafting delightful pastries and desserts that leave a lasting impression on our guests. Your creativity and attention to detail will shine as you design and prepare sweet treats to contemporary desserts. This is a permanent role, at 48 hours per week (including weekends), paying a salary of £37,440 per annum plus generous service charge and a brilliant benefit package.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and prepare a variety of desserts, pastries, and confections.
- Develop new and innovative recipes from development of the afternoon teas to Christmas masterpieces.
- Staying up-to-date with culinary trends in pastry and dessert arts.
- Collaborate with the Head chef and kitchen team to create cohesive and delightful dining experiences.
To succeed in this role we are looking for someone who has
- Demonstrated experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel.
- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, including baking, decorating, and presentation.
- Creativity and innovation in recipe development, with a passion for experimenting with flavours and textures.
