Responsibilities
- Fabrication and welding various Aerospace & Defence components from Aluminium, Stainless Steel and Titanium.
- Fillet and butt welds in thicknesses and combinations between 0.5mm to 3mm (occasionally thicker).
- Manual torch brazing of aluminium and stainless steel.
- Working to tight tolerances and deadlines.
- Welding to Aircraft standards and specifications.
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area as required.
- Following all health and safety guidelines.
About You
- Proven experience in TiG welding.
- Aerospace or defence sectors experience will be preferred.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Ability to work as part of a team and using own initiative.
- Keen eye for detail.
- Legally authorised to work in the UK.
