Hyde is looking to recruit a Gas Engineer in Southampton covering SO and PO postcodes area, offering £44,600 plus a company van and fuel card. As a Gas Engineer at Hyde, you will be working within Property Services to provide a responsive and professional gas installations service to residents, ensuring all work sites are adequately protected and maintained.
Responsibilities:- Service and repair of domestic gas appliances (i.e. gas boilers, fires)
- Perform routine maintenance checks
- Maintain and monitor the supply, stock and use of materials
- Participate in the ‘out of hours' service delivery on a rota basis (Currently every 1 in 6 weeks)
- Act as a liaison between residents and internal teams to ensure any property-related issues are highlighted and resolved promptly
- Raise any non-compliance or process failures with managers
- Previous experience as a gas engineer
- Great customer service skills
- Essential qualifications: CCN1, CKR1, CENWAT
- Previous domestic or social housing experience is advantageous
- Desirable but not essential – HTR1, CONGLP1PD, Unvented Hot Water Systems
